Bright Futures Step-Up and Step-Ahead

Step-Up is a mentorship program for 9th and 10th grade students who may be having academic and social difficulties. Youth are paired with an adult mentor and receive support in setting and achieving personal, family and educational goals. Program includes:

• One-to-One Coaching
• After school drop-in center
• Homework assistance
• Weekly family check-ins
• Life-skills workshops
• Community Meetings

Step-Ahead is designed to create a safe space for 11th and 12th grade youth to develop their self-confidence and leadership skills. Program includes:

• Post-high school exploration
• Homework assistance
• Community service opportunities
• Leadership development
• After school drop-in center
